The reduction of on-grid electric price will restrict the development of PV industry in Britain

IMSResearch published in April 8th, 2011 the on-grid electric price of photovoltaic facilities which exceed 50KW will be radically reduced by the British government. The feasibility of this measure has been doubted by analysts. IMSResearch stated further it is unquestionable that the nuclear power is a part of the project of low carbon electric power. The chief inspector of IMSResearch, AshSharma, showed that the solar power doesn’t have economical efficiency to business organizations which shows clearly that the British government didn’t abide by their promise of the renewable energy. It will influence the administration of public buildings, such as hospital, school and so on. So that the solar power won’t have a financial viability anymore. The high price of photovoltaic will restrict the development of PV industry. According to the statement released by IMSResearch, the reduction of on-grid electric price may restrict the application fields of PV industry in future. This organization further point out that the reduction of large-scale PV facilities will keep the photovoltaic electric prices up.
