With the energy price rising, more and more people find that electrical energy converted from solar energy is a kind of clean and renewable energy, which make solar energy become more attractive.
The US state Maryland has been developing solar energy energetically. Ian Hines, the spokesman of Maryland Energy Department, said: “The solar energy generation of Maryland has grown by 150 times, the capacity increased from 100KW to 15MW.
The Maryland government provides some subsidies to reduce the solar system cost of public installation. From the website of Maryland Energy Department, we can find that subsidy standard of residential use is 0.50USD/W; its highest level can reach 10 thousand US dollars and the capacity can’t excess 20KW.
To most people in Maryland, installing solar system not only can make us get benefits but reduce carbon emission and dependence on fossil fuel. In the long term, it not only can reduce the energy costs but also make a contribution to environmental protection.
