California requirement: thirty percentage of electric power is from renewable energy

April 15, 2015

California Governor Jerry Brown plans to sign a legislation which requires one third of electric power of Public Service Corporation comes from renewable energy in California. Doing so will make California to pace the whole nation in the development of new energy. According to the act, Public Service Corporation and other electric power suppliers should reach the requirement that 33% electric power come from solar panels, wind driven generations, methane power stations, mini-hydro power stations and other renewable energy. Supporters expressed that increasing the aim to 33% from previous 20% can make the investors believe that the demand of renewable energy will increase in California, so as to give impetus to the development in new energy industry. The field is one of the limited numbers of growth points during the recession in California. Zhu Diwen, the American Energy Secretary, is expected to attend the act signature ceremony on Tuesday in Milpitas San Francisco, held by SunPower-Flextronics, a solar panel manufacturer. Stephanie Mueller, the spokesman of American Energy, said “America can’t just stand by and watch, we should go back to using the clean energy. This is what California did.” by lijie su oviera solar
